Hello! We’ve been busy at the Ridge, getting everything up and running for the season, making snow, learning the ropes and the lay of the land a bit. Thanks to everyone who has come out to ski and board with us so far! We’ve had a few minor setbacks, which is to be expected, but we’re pretty happy with the way things have turned out considering all the obstacles we’ve faced in our first few days of operation at a new mountain. Again, we thank everyone for their enthusiasm, patience, and encouragement. But anyway, on to the fun stuff!
We’ve been taking full advantage of the recent cold weather and our guns have been hammering snow. We’ve hit South pretty hard already and hope to have Silversmith near completion after tonight. We will (if all goes well) have South open for skiing by the weekend and with some good fortune, could have Silversmith open as well, fingers crossed. It looks like it may warm up a bit for the weekend, but we’ll get right back at the snowmaking once temperatures allow. In the meantime, get out here and enjoy the snow that we have! As always, keep an eye out for new trail openings and PLEASE stay off closed trails. It’s for your own safety!
See you out there!
Nick
UPDATE: South will be open for the weekend, Silversmith needs more snow and will remain closed until next week.
