What an awesome day in the woods! A dozen or so brave die hard rippers came out today to help clean out some of the Ridge’s most popular glades. The Sugarbush Cut has never looked so good, can’t wait to sample the goods this season! Thanks so much to everyone who helped today, keep an eye out for next summer’s hill cleanup series as we continue to expand and improve our slopes!
We’re a go for tomorrow! There may still be a little bit of this early season snow sticking around, so be sure to dress properly and bring adequate footwear. We’re going to push our start time back to 10AM to let things warm up a bit and keep things as safe as possible. We’ll see everyone tomorrow morning, and remember we’ll have burgers, dogs, and drinks for lunch on us!
Attention all returning and prospective ski and snowboard instructors, our Snowsports School is recruiting! The second instructor’s meeting will be held one week from today, next Tuesday the 14th. Even if you’re just curious about a fun and rewarding job as a ski or board instructor, we urge you to join us for this important pre-season meeting at 6PM in the Wax House. Feel free to comment or message with any questions! See you next week!
We have had to postpone Hill Cleanup Day until next Sunday, November 12th due to unsafe conditions on hill following this week’s rain. Thanks to all who planned to attend and we hope to see you next weekend!
Hello fellow Snow Ridgians! We’re absolutely floored by the feedback we’ve received about Hill Clean-Up Day. We drove up on the hill this morning, and after a week of outrageous rainfall (soon to be snow), we’ve determined that the hill is too dangerous to work on. We will be postponing until the same time next Sunday, 11/12. The upcoming week looks much drier and we cannot take the safety of our volunteers lightly, especially when it comes to an event like this. Again, thank you so much to everyone who was planning to come out and help tomorrow. We hope to see you tonight at the Warren Miller movie and next Sunday the 12th for Hill Clean-Up take two!
