Trail Building Day

We’re looking for volunteers to help us build one of our newest ski trails as well as our brand new mountain bike trails! For the ski trail, we’ll be focusing on the top section of Pocket Knife, one of the newest additions to the Snow Pocket area. We’ll be clearing a gladed trail from Rockin’ Robin, down to the lower, open section of Pocket Knife.

For the bike trails, we’ll continue working across the top of the hill to connect the uphill climb trail with the downhill trail that will be built next spring. Finishing this upper XC connecting trail will put us at about 70% completion, putting us in good shape for opening early next summer! These trails will be free to ride and their construction depends on volunteer hands. The more people we have to help, the sooner they’ll be able to open!

As always, lunch and drinks are on us after a few good hours of work. We’ll meet in the parking lot at 10AM. Useful tools to bring include shears, loppers, hand saws, machetes, and anything else used to clear brush.
