This policy explains what information Snow Ridge Ski Resort (“Snow Ridge,” “we,” “us”), 4173 West Road, Turin, NY 13473, collects through snowridge.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
- Contact form: your name, email address, message, and whether you want our newsletter.
- Join & Save sign-up: your name, email, phone number, whether you are US Military, whether you are planning an event, and whether you ski and/or snowboard.
- Purchases: when you buy season passes, event tickets, gift cards or merchandise, we collect your name, email, billing details and order details. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
- Event and wedding inquiries, feedback and photo submissions: whatever you choose to send us.
Information collected automatically
- Essential cookies: needed for the site to work, such as keeping your cart, keeping you signed in, security, and remembering your cookie choice. These are always on.
- Analytics and tracking cookies (only with your permission): if you choose Accept in our cookie banner, we load Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Hotjar to understand how the site is used, and WooCommerce order attribution to see how visitors found us. If you choose Reject, or don’t choose, none of these run.
- Server and security logs: our hosting and security services record technical details such as IP address, browser type and pages requested to keep the site secure and working.
- Spam protection: some forms use Google reCAPTCHA, which may collect device and usage information to tell people from bots.
How we use information
- To answer your questions and inquiries
- To process orders, passes and tickets, and send confirmations
- To send newsletters and offers you signed up for (you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email)
- With your permission, to measure and improve the website
- To keep the site secure and prevent fraud
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run Snow Ridge, and only as needed for that service:
- Payment processing (Stripe)
- Lift ticket booking (Singenuity) and activity booking (FareHarbor), when you choose to book through them
- Email newsletters (Campaign Monitor)
- Website analytics, only with your permission (Google, Hotjar)
- Website hosting, security and spam protection
We may also share information if required by law or to protect the safety of our guests and staff.
Your choices
- Cookies: use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page to change your choice at any time.
- Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a choice to reject tracking.
- Emails: unsubscribe using the link in any newsletter.
- Access, correction and deletion: you can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within 45 days.
How long we keep information
We keep order records as long as needed for accounting and legal requirements, and other information only as long as it is useful for the purpose it was collected for.
Children
snowridge.com is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
