DESCRIPTION:The WinterFest Carnival is back and better than ever! ❄🎪 You’ll enjoy discounted pricing across the resort and participate in one of our fun events throughout the weekend to be entered into our grand prize drawing!\n\n\n\n \n\n\nOn Saturday\, take part in the Snow Ridge Scavenger Hunt! Search for clues and follow the riddles to navigate your way all over the ski area! Pick up your first clue at the Ticket Desk in the Wax House\, anytime from 10am-2pm. In the afternoon\, catch live music by Gwen and Jim Tracy in Tavern230 from 2pm-5pm. Saturday evening\, enjoy a night of story telling at the Turin Library with “Memories of Snow Ridge” at 6PM.\n\n\n \n\n\nOn Sunday\, get your creative juices flowing\, and take part in the Snow Ridge Snowman Competition! Teams and individuals are invited to build their best snowman (or snow sculpture) at the base of South Slope! That afternoon\, it’s the return of the ever chaotic Snow Kayak Races! Challenge a friend and jump in a kayak to go head-to-head to the finish line! This fun race will be from 1PM-3PM\, stop in and give it a try! Helmets and a signed release waiver are required\, parental signature needed for competitors under 18 years of age. Register at the Ticket Desk in the Wax House. \n\n\n \n\n\nAll events are free of charge and everyone who takes part in an event will be entered to win a number of great prizes from Snow Ridge! We’ll have music pumping\, flamingos floating and beach balls bouncing. The skimming begins at Noon and runs til the pond is dry. Join us for this crazy fun FREE event! SUMMARY:Main Event Big Air
DESCRIPTION:**Event moved to Sunday\, March 31st** \nIt’s baaaccckkkk! After a few years off\, the Big Air is back by popular demand! We’ve put together one of the best jumps Snow Ridge has ever seen this year\, the Main Event Triple Kicker at the bottom of the Main Park. Featuring three separate take offs\, the Main Event is the perfect jump for a unique Big Air competition\, allowing everyone from intermediate to advanced riders to participate. \nThe event will start with a riders meeting at 1PM on the deck of the jump. All competitors must register at the ticket desk in the Wax House by 12:30. Registration for the comp is FREE! Helmets are mandatory and a signed parental release is required for all competitors under 18 years of age. \nRiders will compete in one of two heats. The Intermediate Heat is for competitors who ride park at an intermediate level. The Open Heat is for more advanced riders. Each heat will be a jam style format\, with riders getting as many hits in as they can in 45 minutes. Each jump will be judged\, with the total of the best three jumps giving each rider an overall score. Prizes will be awarded to the top two ski and board finishers in each heat. \nEnter the contest to show your stuff\, or come and cheer on the riders! Monster Energy will be on site\, tossing out energy drinks all day! Either way\, mark your calendars and come out to support freestyle skiing and riding at the Ridge!
