DESCRIPTION:Wax those skis and boards!! Adult “Beer” League is back for the second season! ⛷ \nThis is a fun\, 21+ league that happens for 6 Friday nights during the peak of our winter season! The race course is set on South Slope and is open to skiers and snowboarders who are apart of the league night only. No prior race experience needed\, just come out and have fun! \nSome Rules to Know: \n❄️Max of 6 people per team \n❄️Must have at least one female on your team \n❄️The course opens at 6pm and each athlete gets two runs. \n❄️Subs are allowed and must inform the race timer prior to the race starting \n❄️Top 4 individual times count for the team score each week \n❄️$60/person to sign up which is only $10/race! This does NOT include a lift ticket. If you don’t have a season pass\, you can purchase a discounted Friday night ticket for only $25 each week. \n*Drum Roll*Each team will get a FREE pitcher of beer every Friday night after the race ends  Tokens will be given to the team captain prior to the race starting. \nSchedule: Our Race League will start on Friday\, January 19th and run through Friday\, March 1st (skipping Presidents week) March 1st will be the finals\, followed by awards and a cocktail hour  \nEnd of season awards include:\n* Fastest Female\n* Fastest Male\n* Fastest Overall Team\n* Last Through the Finish\, First to the Bar \nThis was such a fun time last year and we are excited to bring it back and grow participation within the league!! We will be accepting walk-ins at the main gate ** \nCheck out all the info for our Solar Eclipse Viewing Party in Tavern230 and on the hill! \n\n$10 entry includes the Tavern party\, a chair lift ride to the top of the hill\, and a pair of AAS certified viewing glasses to the first 100 pre-sale tickets sold!\nThe Tavern will open at Noon with drink and food specials\, music\, lawn games\, and outdoor fire pit.\nThe chair lift will run from 2pm-4pm. All guests MUST walk down the hill. There will be NO down loading on the lift.\nViewing of the eclipse may be done from the bottom of the hill\, from the chair lift\, or the top of the hill!\nTickets will be limited and only the first 100 will receive free viewing glasses.\nChildren 6 and under are free! DESCRIPTION:The TugMudDare at Snow Ridge Resort in Turin\, NY is the premier Adventure Run in the Tug Hill-Adirondack Region! The 5K course wanders throughout the ski area\, across ridge lines\, through streams\, and up and down hills as it covers roughly 2000 vertical feet. This unique course will challenge you unlike any other\, while also providing countless smiles\, laughs and high fives. There are a number of different ways to participate in the TugMudDare Adventure Run! \nTMD 5K Individual Heat: This one is simple\, it’s a race to the finish line with bragging rights\, medals\, and prizes on the line for the top three female and male finishers. You’ll run solo against the field in the TMD 5K Individual Heat to see who ends up on top! While this heat does offer prizes for the top finishers\, it can also be run just for fun. All individuals who do not plan to run with a team should sign up for this Heat. \n​TMD Team Run Heats: Teamwork and fun are the name of the game here. You’ll work together with your teammates to finish the TugMudDare course! There is no minimum or maximum team size\, so grab some friends and assemble your team! Team heats are NOT competitive. Teams will receive a finishing time only for fun\, no prizes are awarded in these heats. If you plan to run alongside other people as a team\, register yourself for one of these Heats. \nTMD Tikes: The kids run takes place on a smaller\, separate course than the TugMudDare. All children in the 3-7 year old hear require supervision from an adult (no additional fee required). This is a fun run with all kids receiving a t-shirt and finishers medal for completing the course! This event is a fundraiser for our Snow Ridge Scholarship Fund\, which aims to award two scholarships in the Fall of 2024. One winner will be a Snow Ridge employee who is a high school senior or college student. The other winner will be a local high school senior who has an interest in a career in the outdoor recreation or hospitality fields. Help us award these students with a boost into their future careers! \nBeing hosted this year at the Woodgate Pines Golf Course in Boonville\, NY\, the Snow Ridge Scholarship Classic is a golf tournament like you’ve never seen before. Teams of four will play a captain and crew format\, with a game or challenge on ALL 18 holes! A number of these games will include a prize for the winner\, while others will help to even the field in the form of fun\, whacky challenges. Have you ever teed off in ski boots? Tried to putt with a ski? Won a SHORT drive contest? These are all some of the things you’ll find at the inaugural Scholarship Classic! \nThe tournament will take place on Saturday\, October 5th. Registration begins at 8am\, shotgun start at 9am\, happy hour from 2pm-3pm\, and dinner and awards at 3pm! Registration is $320 per four person team and includes 18 holes of golf\, cart\, lite lunch\, dinner\, games\, raffle\, and 4 buy one get one free Snow Ridge lift tickets per team! DESCRIPTION:The Ninety-Pound Rucksack Challenge returns on February 18\, 2025\, inviting participants nationwide to commemorate the legacy of the U.S. Army’s 10th Mountain Division. \nHosted in partnership with the National Ski Patrol\, 10th Mountain Division Foundation\, 10th Mountain Alpine Club\, 10th Mountain Division Descendants\, and Uphill Athlete\, this annual ski mountaineering event celebrates the historic World War II ascent of Italy’s Riva Ridge and the post-war contributions of the 10th Mountain Division to American skiing. \nOn the evening of February 18 at 7 p.m. local time\, participants will ascend ski slopes or backcountry routes\, mirroring the 10th Mountain Division soldiers’ nighttime climb up Riva Ridge in 1945. This year marks the 80th anniversary of the ascent that cracked the Gothic Line\, hastened the end of World War II\, and solidified the Division’s legacy. \nGROWING NATIONWIDE PARTICIPATION\nThe 2025 Ninety-Pound Rucksack Challenge will be held at iconic locations across the county\, including: \n\nWhiteface Mountain\, NY – Early training ground for the 10th Mountain Division.\nSki Cooper\, CO – The Division’s primary training area.\nMt. DESCRIPTION:The TugMudDare at Snow Ridge Resort in Turin\, NY is the premier Adventure Run in the Tug Hill-Adirondack Region! The 5K course wanders throughout the ski area\, across ridge lines\, through streams\, and up and down hills as it covers roughly 2000 vertical feet. This unique course will challenge you unlike any other\, while also providing countless smiles\, laughs and high fives. There are a number of different ways to participate in the TugMudDare Adventure Run!\nTMD 5K Individual Heat: This one is simple\, it’s a race to the finish line with bragging rights\, medals\, and prizes on the line for the top three female and male finishers. You’ll run solo against the field in the TMD 5K Individual Heat to see who ends up on top! While this heat does offer prizes for the top finishers\, it can also be run just for fun. All individuals who do not plan to run with a team should sign up for this Heat.\n​TMD Team Run Heats: Teamwork and fun are the name of the game here. You’ll work together with your teammates to finish the TugMudDare course! There is no minimum or maximum team size\, so grab some friends and assemble your team! Team heats are NOT competitive. Teams will receive a finishing time only for fun\, no prizes are awarded in these heats. If you plan to run alongside other people as a team\, register yourself for one of these Heats.\nTMD Tikes: The kids run takes place on a smaller\, separate course than the TugMudDare. All children in the 3-7 year old hear require supervision from an adult (no additional fee required). This is a fun run with all kids receiving a t-shirt and finishers medal for completing the course! This run is open to all kids ages 3-12 years old.\n\nNo matter how you dare\, the TugMudDare will put both your body and mind to the ultimate test. #doyourdare?
