DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the all new Friday Night Adult Race League! Check out the info below\, gather your team\, and get signed up today! \nFriday Night Adult Race League\n \nDates: League races will be held between 6-8pm on four consecutive Friday nights – January 20th\, 27th\, February 3rd\, 10th \nTeams: Teams will be made up of 3 people. They can be any mix of skiers and snowboarders\, and must include at least one female. Racers must be at least 21 years of age before the first night of league. \nCost: Individual racer cost is $45\, making a full team $135. This includes 4 weeks of racing\, one pitcher of beer each week per team\, and an end of league party. Night lift tickets are available to racers at only $15 per week. \nRules: \n– Each racer is allowed to take two runs\, but must complete at least one run between 6pm and 8pm. The best of the two runs will count towards the team total.\n– One run from each racer will be tallied into the team total for the week.\n– If a racer cannot attend one week\, the team is responsible for finding a substitute OR taking the maximum individual time allotment for that night.\n– Points will be awarded each week based on a team’s overall finish. These points will accrue over the 4 weeks to determine the overall league champions. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams\, fastest ski male\, fastest ski female\, fastest snowboard male\, and fastest snowboard female.\n– Additional rules or judgments may be made by the race committee \nPre-registration has ended. Racers are welcome to sign up in person at the wax house this evening!

DESCRIPTION:We’re looking for volunteers to help us build one of our newest ski trails as well as our brand new mountain bike trails! For the ski trail\, we’ll be focusing on the top section of Pocket Knife\, one of the newest additions to the Snow Pocket area. We’ll be clearing a gladed trail from Rockin’ Robin\, down to the lower\, open section of Pocket Knife. \nFor the bike trails\, we’ll continue working across the top of the hill to connect the uphill climb trail with the downhill trail that will be built next spring. Finishing this upper XC connecting trail will put us at about 70% completion\, putting us in good shape for opening early next summer! These trails will be free to ride and their construction depends on volunteer hands. The more people we have to help\, the sooner they’ll be able to open! \nAs always\, lunch and drinks are on us after a few good hours of work. We’ll meet in the parking lot at 10AM. Useful tools to bring include shears\, loppers\, hand saws\, machetes\, and anything else used to clear brush.

This event is a fundraiser for our Snow Ridge Scholarship Fund\, which aims to award two scholarships in the Spring of 2023. One winner will be a Snow Ridge employee who is a high school senior or college student. The other winner will be a South Lewis senior who has an interest in a career in the outdoor recreation or hospitality fields. Help us award these students with a boost into their future careers! \nThe Snow Ridge Scholarship Classic is a golf tournament like you’ve never seen before. Teams of four will play a captain and crew format\, with a game or challenge on ALL 18 holes! A number of these games will include a prize for the winner\, while others will help to even the field in the form of fun\, whacky challenges. Have you ever teed off in ski boots? Tried to putt with a ski? Won a SHORT drive contest? These are all some of the things you’ll find at the inaugural Scholarship Classic! \nThe tournament will take place on Saturday\, September 10th. Registration and breakfast begin at 9am\, shotgun start at 10am\, cocktail hour at Ledges from 3pm-4pm\, and dinner and awards at Tavern230 from 4pm-6pm!
