DESCRIPTION:The park rats’ favorite event of the season is back on Saturday\, April 8th! The Post-Season Park Jam presented by Flower Skate Shop is set to go off with another killer session at the bottom of South. This one day only\, special park build will be serviced by the carpet lift. Bunny Bowl and the Tubing Park will be transformed into a unique\, incredibly fun park setup\, the likes of which you won’t see anywhere else in the state. \nSkiers and boarders can come session the setup for fun\, compete in a number of events\, or just watch the show from the bottom of the hill! Food and drink will be available for purchase right at the bottom of the park. \nCarpet only lift ticket: $20\nCarpet lift ticket plus events/prizes: $30\nChair lift ticket plus events/prizes: $40 (TBD if Ridge Runner Chair is open) \nCheck back soon for more information on the day’s events!

DESCRIPTION:**Event moved to Sunday\, March 31st** \nIt’s baaaccckkkk! After a few years off\, the Big Air is back by popular demand! We’ve put together one of the best jumps Snow Ridge has ever seen this year\, the Main Event Triple Kicker at the bottom of the Main Park. Featuring three separate take offs\, the Main Event is the perfect jump for a unique Big Air competition\, allowing everyone from intermediate to advanced riders to participate. \nThe event will start with a riders meeting at 1PM on the deck of the jump. All competitors must register at the ticket desk in the Wax House by 12:30. Registration for the comp is FREE! Helmets are mandatory and a signed parental release is required for all competitors under 18 years of age. \nRiders will compete in one of two heats. The Intermediate Heat is for competitors who ride park at an intermediate level. The Open Heat is for more advanced riders. Each heat will be a jam style format\, with riders getting as many hits in as they can in 45 minutes. Each jump will be judged\, with the total of the best three jumps giving each rider an overall score. Prizes will be awarded to the top two ski and board finishers in each heat. \nEnter the contest to show your stuff\, or come and cheer on the riders! Monster Energy will be on site\, tossing out energy drinks all day! Either way\, mark your calendars and come out to support freestyle skiing and riding at the Ridge!

DESCRIPTION:Hike (verb): to rise up; to work upward out of place\nHuck (verb): to hurl oneself in a most righteous manner through the air or across a metal surface \nIntroducing an all new freestyle event at the Ridge\, it’s the post-season Hike ‘n Huck! We’re taking all the snow from the bottom of the park and building up a beautiful money booter with a couple jib options on either side of the deck. The mountain will be closed\, but the park will be going off! \n$10 gets you into the 3 hour session complete with prizes and giveaways\, lunch off the grill\, and an epic ending to your ’16-’17 park season. Helmets are mandatory and parental signature is required for all participants under 18 years of age. \nIf you’ve called it quits for the season or just don’t ride park\, come watch the show! Admission is free for spectators\, burgers and dogs will be on the grill\, and we’ll have the music pumping all day! \nThe chair lift will NOT be running\, participants will be hiking for their hits. This will be a fair weather event only\, which is why it has been moved from Saturday to Sunday\, the weather should be prime!
