SUMMARY:75th Anniversary Celebration!
DESCRIPTION:Let’s face it\, it’s been a tough year. We hit a milestone at Snow Ridge this winter\, but Covid has cast a pretty large shadow over the season and we haven’t exactly been in a celebrating mood. Thanks to our staff and guests\, however\, we’ve been able to have a safe\, successful season\, and for that we’re forever grateful! \nIf you recall 5 years ago for the 70th year of operation\, we had a big gathering with dinner\, drinks\, activities and people getting together from all over the country. Obviously\, this year things are much different\, but 75 years of skiing on the Tug is certainly something that needs to be acknowledged. So we’re going to celebrate the best way we can on Saturday\, March 13th! \nBring the family out for some spring skiing and fun activities on and off the snow! We’ll have a scavenger hunt\, Snow Ridge trivia challenge\, human curling\, and snow kayaking to celebrate our milestone! All activities are free to try and everyone is welcome! \nScavenger Hunt: All day (start in the Wax House)\nTrivia Challenge: 12PM in (meet in the Wax House)\nHuman Curling: All day (in the courtyard)\nSnow Kayaking: 1PM-3PM (bottom of South\, register at Ticket Desk)

DESCRIPTION:UPDATE: This event has been cancelled following discussions with the event organizer concerning this week’s weather. After a warm up with rain forecast and a temperature drop heading into the weekend\, we concluded that it would not be possible to offer a track that is rideable\, fun\, safe\, and that we would be proud of. We plan to be back next year to give it another shot! \nWe’re excited to introduce fat bike racing at the Ridge! \nYOU DON’T WANT TO MISS THIS RACE! REGISTER NOW! There will be NO day of registration and a combined fields cap of 50 racers per discipline (XC and Dual Slalom). \nParticipation is KEY to holding events like this so take advantage of great early pricing and DON’T procrastinate. Registration closes 3/6\, but this will sell out quick! \nWe are VERY excited to introduce you to the North Country Fat Bike Championships. \nSnow Ridge Ski Resort is an absolute North Country Classic\, and is a lot closer to Syracuse\, Utica\, Watertown\, Albany and Binghamton than you think! This race is sure to become an instant classic. \nExpect a VERY well marked and challenging mixed surface XC course with groomers\, single-track\, and chockablock full of twists\, turns\, rolls and punches…and enough elevation to keep us all honest. \nThe Dual Slalom course will be well-groomed and responsibly featured…it’s going to be a total barn burner of a race and likely a spectacle for the ages. \nREGISTER FOR BOTH DISCIPLINES AND SAVE $10 \nAfterwards the very charming\, warm\, and welcoming Tavern will play host to awards and a very comfortable unwind…with hot food\, cold drinks\, and plenty of options on tap. Find a comforatable seat\, or just stand by the fire with a cold drink in hand and entertain everyone with all your best post-race excuses! \nREGISTER HERE TODAY!
